Miss Dolly says, 'It's hard to be a diamond in a rhinestone world!' This little beauty is truly a gem, a super sweet and smart girl who has TONS of love to give! She adores cuddles, treats, belly rubs, but most of all, she loves her human! She is great with cats and small dogs, is crate trained and is doing very well with house training. She adapted to the routine in her foster home very easily. She enjoys her afternoon walks and does very well on a leash and her favorite spot is snuggled under the covers next to you in bed. Really her preferred place is anywhere she can be near her person. She does have quite a bit of playful energy when ... Miss Dolly is such a precious, adorable girl with the sweetest personality and she will make her furever human very happy! She would love a home where she could be a pampered companion, so would be perfect for a retiree or someone who is home with lots of time to spend with her. We think Dolly is possibly an Italian Greyhound / Dachshund mix, about 7 years old and weighs about 12 pounds. If you think Dolly sounds just like what you're looking for, please contact us! How To Adopt | Adoption Application | Pet Inquiry Form | Long Distance Adoptions A.A.R.F. (All About Rescue and Fixin' Inc.) is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) no kill animal rescue organization located in the Upper Cumberland area of Tennessee. A.A.R.F. is comprised of unpaid volunteers and survives only on public donations. Adoption donations vary and are subject to change without notice. Thank you for thinking adoption first! Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for feline leukemia and FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption. (Less)

Italian Greyhound Dogs can make good pets in Tennessee if they match your IifestyIe. The Italian Greyhound is a gentle, elegant, somewhat nervous and high strung dog. The Italian Greyhound makes a good companion for low-key families without rambunctious children. Italian Greyhounds get along well with other pets, especially other Italian Greyhounds, but do not do well with larger dogs. Italian Greyhounds need gentle but firm obedience training.
