Rescue Me ID: 17-09-20-00410Ollie (male)

Italian Greyhound Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Not Good with Other Dogs, Good with Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

Ollie is a 15 lb 5 year old chihuahua/italian greyhound mix seeking a new home and family to love. He should not be in a home with little kids as they make him anxious. A single person or couple (with no intention to have kids) would instantly fall in love with his sweet, affectionate demeanor. He is neutered and up to date on his vaccines. No health issues other than some season allergies and his anxiety. He does great on a leash and loves his walks. As he is half italian greyhound, when he is in the mood, he can RUN super fast....we call him a torpedo. He is ok on car rides but is happy to get out when we arrive to our destination. He ... (Read More)likes being the co-pilot up front instead of the back. He would do best as an only dog just because he is easily jealous and wants all the attention and snuggles to himself. He enjoys the dog park but tends to keep to himself. He is a bit of a loner when it comes to dogs but loves people once he gets the know them. He ends up on everyone's lap at parties :) He is a lap dog for sure but enjoys his exercise. He is house trained and sleeps currently on a bed in the master bedroom. He is crate trained as well and loves his crate as it's his safe space and napping station. Please reach out to his foster mom for more information at veronicakw1@gmail.com (Less)

Italian Greyhound Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Good with Most Dogs, Good with Kids and Adults
Personality: Average Energy, Average Temperament
Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs. Cleo's Story... Hi my name is Cleo and I am a very loving little gal that can't wait to find a family to call my own! I am around 2 years old and weigh about 18 pounds. My foster mom wanted to name me Egypt because I remind her of the Egyptian dog statues but instead decided to name me Cleo! I like my new name as I too think I'm a queen. I am extremely people friendly and love to be held and give kisses. Foster mom is trying to teach me not to jump out of excitement when I meet new people but it is still a work in progress. I am dog friendly as ... (Read More)well but need some time to adjust when meeting new pooches. I currently get along with all the dogs in my foster moms house but it took me a bit to warm up to a couple of them. I do not like when other dogs get near me while I am eating my food so my foster mom crates me during meal time! We are unsure of how I am with cats but my foster mom thinks I would be okay with them... mostly because if I make them angry they could put me in my place... How nice of her, right? I am crate trained and potty trained and I love to snuggle on the couch! I do quite well on a leash. I am an escape artist and have escaped the kennel at my foster mom's house and I got out of the fence at one of my foster mom's friend's houses. Luckily I am not a darter but just to be safe I should not be left unattended in the back yard! I am up to date on vaccines, microchipped, spayed, heartworm negative, and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm prevention. My adoption fee is $225. If you have additional questions about me please contact my foster mom at fchslauraelizabeth@gmail.com. If you would like to apply to adopt me please do so using this link: http://pawsforlifenc.org/pet-adoptions/dog-adoptions/dog-adoption-form/ I can't wait to meet my forever family because I have so much love to give! Could it be you??? LUV, Cleopatra aka Queen Cleo (Less)
